Girona Province

La Costa Brava

The Costa Brava is the name given to the coast between Cap de Creus in the north and Blanes in the south. Its quiet beaches, set against beautiful mountain landscapes, make it an area of unique charm. Its peaceful towns and fishing villages contain a wealth of history, represented by both fine buildings and traditional local festivals.
This dramatic coastline is also home to such sun-blessed seaside towns as Cadaqués, Roses, l'Escala, Llafranc, Calella de Palafrugell and Palamós.
